On July 29, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE) welcomed Prof. Jian Zuo from Adelaide University, Australia. The meeting quickly shifted from reflection on past achievements to building an ambitious roadmap for the future.

What began as a solid educational partnership is now evolving into a broader, multi-layered alliance:
🎯 Opening New Academic Doors:
Building on this momentum, HCM-UTE proposed a new transfer pathway for its upcoming English-taught Construction Management degree, alongside exploring a 1+1 Master’s model for postgraduate learners.
🎯 Welcoming Australian Students to HCM-UTE:
Expanding the bridge in both directions, HCM-UTE is designing short-term visits, summer schools, and term exchanges to bring Adelaide students to Vietnam for hands-on lab work, project learning, and cultural discovery.

🎯 Nurturing the Next Generation of Scholars:
Moving into high-level research, both sides agreed to launch a Joint PhD Supervision framework as a practical stepping stone toward future dual-award doctoral degrees.
🎯 Uniting Academic Champions:
To drive real innovation, both campuses will map out research strengths and pair up lead "academic champions" to co-author papers, host conferences, and win international grants.
This meeting marks more than just an administrative check-in—it signals a bold step forward in HCM-UTE’s mission to connect its academic community to global excellence.
