Moving forward with our global integration strategy, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE) hosted an important working session with representatives from Hanyang University (HYU), South Korea, on June 8, 2026. The meeting opened up new horizons for academic partnerships, international research, and global career opportunities for HCM-UTE students.

💡 Key Highlights of the Collaboration:
🔹 1. 2+2 Articulation Programmes:
Both institutions entered discussions to develop a 2+2 Articulation Programme in Construction Engineering and Architecture. The curriculum mapping process will be initiated soon to ensure seamless credit transfers, establishing a solid pathway for students to earn degrees from both prestigious universities.
🔹 2. GTSD 2026 Conference Integration:
HCM-UTE officially invited Hanyang University representatives to participate as Keynote Speakers at the upcoming GTSD 2026 Conference (which has already received over 400 papers!). Furthermore, opportunities for premium sponsorship were discussed to elevate the conference's international scale.
🔹 3. Global Industry Connections:
Mr. Brian Baewon Koh, Director of Integra Architecture Design and Consulting Company, highly appreciated the quality of HCM-UTE engineering students and expressed a strong interest in direct recruitment, opening up excellent international career doors for our Faculty of Civil Engineering students.
