On April 29, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE) hosted a productive meeting with representatives from Adelaide University (AU), Australia. This meeting marks a significant step forward in solidifying the long-term strategic partnership between the two institutions.

 

During the session, both parties agreed to accelerate comprehensive cooperation, focusing on:
- International Education: Developing 2+2 articulation programmes and credit-transfer pathways in Food Science and Chemical Engineering.
- Expert Exchange: Welcoming top experts from AU, such as Dr. Luis Toronjo-Urquiza, to deliver specialised seminars and guest lectures at HCM-UTE.

- Joint Research: Promoting co-research initiatives and inviting AU partners to participate in the upcoming GTSD 2026 international conference.

- Student Mobility: Expanding short-term exchange opportunities in Australia for HCM-UTE students.
