On 22 September 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) had the honor of welcoming a delegation from Rise Bridge Holdings Korea and Rise Vietnam at the Stateroom, 5th Floor – Central Building. The meeting brought together representatives from HCMUTE, including the Deputy Director of the Office of International Affairs and faculty leaders from various departments, with Mr. Park Chang Gyu, Chairman of Rise Bridge Holdings, and his team. Discussions centered on potential cooperation in education, training, technology transfer, and career opportunities for students.

During the session, Mr. Park introduced several of Rise Holdings’ innovative initiatives and technologies. These included The Apex Global, an education company that partners with universities across Southeast Asia; Global IT, a government-funded AI training center in Seoul; and cutting-edge technologies such as AirsMart and ShieldCare, which focus on air purification and energy-efficient glass panel solutions. He also presented SignalCare, a green-bio initiative that transforms waste proteins into animal feed, fertilizer, and potential future human food sources.

Both sides exchanged ideas on a wide range of collaborative opportunities. Among them were the development of Master’s degree programs with scholarships, including fully funded options for HCMUTE students; postgraduate training and employment opportunities in Korea, supported by E7 and F2R visa pathways; and stronger industry linkages in fields such as aerospace manufacturing. The discussion also explored the possibility of international internships for HCMUTE students in world-class hotels across destinations such as Dubai and Qatar.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to building a long-term partnership. Both HCMUTE and Rise Holdings expressed their readiness to work together in developing innovative programs and creating sustainable opportunities for students, thereby strengthening academic, research, and industry connections between Vietnam and Korea.
