On 16 September 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan, led by Professor Ian Yang, Associate Professor Jo-Yu (Frank) Wang, and Ms. Hannah from the NFU Office of International Affairs.
The visit marked a valuable opportunity for both institutions to present their academic strengths and to discuss directions for future cooperation.
During the meeting, NFU introduced its academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and proposed initiatives such as student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and a 1+1 program for professors. In return, HCMUTE provided an overview of its history, academic programs, and international activities, emphasizing its strong commitment to building meaningful partnerships.

Faculty representatives from HCMUTE expressed great interest in exploring collaborative opportunities with NFU. Both universities highlighted their mutual willingness to welcome each other’s students and professors, thereby creating sustainable platforms for international academic exchange.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of gifts and a shared commitment to develop new joint programs and strengthen academic cooperation between HCMUTE and NFU.

This visit represents another important step in HCMUTE’s mission to expand its international collaborations, providing diverse opportunities for lecturers and students, and fostering global engagement across teaching, research, and cultural exchange.
