On 8 September 2025, Ho Chi
Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) warmly welcomed
students from Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Phuket Campus to participate
in the Global Citizen Project 2025.

This special project was designed to promote global citizenship, community engagement, and intercultural learning. The program began with two insightful sessions from HCMUTE: “Fundamentals of Vietnamese Culture” delivered by Mr. Le Huu Phuc from the Faculty of Political Science and Law, which introduced Vietnam’s history, geography, tourism, and language, and “Overview of the Vietnamese Education System” presented by Mr. Nguyen Thoi from the Office of International Affairs, which provided valuable insights into education in Vietnam.

The highlight of the program was the Vietnamese Cooking Class, hosted by the Faculty of Fashion and Tourism, where PSU students learned how to prepare traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. This interactive activity brought students closer to Vietnamese culture in an engaging and memorable way.

Through the project, students not only gained knowledge about Vietnamese culture and education but also strengthened skills in intercultural communication, teamwork, and global citizenship. Importantly, both universities reaffirmed their commitment to fostering stronger partnerships and expanding future collaborative projects, paving the way for more meaningful academic and cultural exchanges.

The visit concluded with a reflection session and the presentation of certificates of participation, reinforcing the vision of continued international collaboration between PSU and HCMUTE.
