On 23 September 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Curtin Singapore for a meeting at the university’s Central Building. The visit created a valuable platform for both institutions to exchange information and explore opportunities for future cooperation.

During the session, HCMUTE representatives provided an overview of the university’s history, training models, and international partnerships, underscoring its strong commitment to fostering global collaboration. In turn, the Curtin Singapore delegation introduced their institution, highlighting its academic programs, global presence, and dedication to innovation and student success.

The discussion covered a wide range of potential initiatives, including student and staff exchanges, joint research projects, scholarship opportunities, and co-hosted academic activities. Both sides also identified emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and quantum technology as promising areas for cooperation. Importantly, the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the near future was raised as a concrete step toward formalizing collaboration.

The meeting concluded with a gift exchange and a group photo, symbolizing the goodwill and shared vision of both universities. The visit marked an important step in paving the way for a stronger and long-term partnership between HCMUTE and Curtin Singapore.
