On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE) organised an information session on the Fulbright Master’s Programme, providing valuable guidance and insights for students and lecturers interested in pursuing Master's studies in the United States.

The event was honoured to welcome Ms. Hanh Huy, Fulbright Coordinator, U.S. Embassy Hanoi, along with Mr. Nguyen Thai Son, Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and Fulbright Master’s Scholarship alumnus, as guest speakers.

The programme began with a lively warm-up game that helped students gain a clearer understanding of the origins, values, and mission of the Fulbright Programme. Following this, Ms. Hanh Huy delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Fulbright Master’s Program, covering essential information such as eligibility requirements, the application process, key timelines, and practical guidance on writing a strong personal statement and study objectives.

Continuing the session, Mr. Nguyen Thai Son shared his real-life experiences as a Fulbright scholarship recipient. He provided practical advice on preparing a competitive application, adapting to academic life in the United States, and making the most of one’s Fulbright journey. His earnest and detailed account, along with an interactive Q&A session, helped address many concerns and questions from participating students and lecturers.
The event concluded in a warm and engaging atmosphere with a small gift presentation to express appreciation to the guest speakers, marking a meaningful and inspiring session for students aspiring to study abroad through the Fulbright Program.
