On January 30, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE) had the honour of hosting a high-level delegation from leading Malaysian universities and representatives from the Consulate General of Malaysia. This meeting marks a significant milestone in our journey toward internationalisation, reinforcing the strong diplomatic and academic bonds between our two nations.

The working session took place in an atmosphere of collaboration and shared vision, focusing on several key pillars that will directly benefit our faculty and students:
**** Strategic Vision for Global Ranking: Both parties discussed initiatives to enhance international recognition and QS rankings. We took pride in presenting HCM-UTE’s rich history, robust research capabilities, and our strategic emphasis on industry-linked education.
**** Empowering Student & Staff Mobility: * Significant focus was placed on expanding exchange programmes (mobility) with esteemed partners like UniMAP and UTM.

The discussion highlighted the vital role of industry partnerships in developing state-of-the-art laboratories and technical facilities. This ensures our training programmes remain aligned with real-world industrial demands.

The success of this visit reaffirms HCM-UTE’s commitment to providing a world-class educational environment. These upcoming collaborations will open up incredible opportunities for our students to intern, study, and innovate on a global stage.
