In the afternoon of 24th November, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) hosted a delegation from Korea University for a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening academic and research collaboration.

During the discussion, both universities shared key information about their academic strengths, international programmes, and ongoing research initiatives. The two sides explored opportunities for cooperation in student and staff exchanges, joint research projects, co-authored publications, 2+2 programmes, and potential PhD pathways for young lecturers. Collaborative areas such as renewable energy, hydrogen technology, and emerging fields like AI, big data, and cybersecurity were highlighted.

The meeting concluded with both sides expressing strong commitment to developing a university-level Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalise upcoming activities. As a gesture of goodwill, the two institutions also exchanged special gifts.

HCMUTE looks forward to fostering a long-term partnership with Korea University and expanding global learning and research opportunities for students and staff.
