On October 20, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) had the honour of welcoming a delegation from Teesside University, United Kingdom, for a strategic meeting aimed at enhancing cooperation in education, research, student mobility, and technology transfer.

During the meeting, both universities discussed potential collaboration models, including the 3+1 articulation programme and one-year top-up courses in areas such as Logistics, International Business Management, Marketing, and finance. Future initiatives were also explored in emerging disciplines like Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, and Sustainability.

The discussion further highlighted opportunities for two-way student and faculty exchange, joint research, and English Medium Instruction (EMI) training to support internationalisation efforts.
