HCMUTE has had the honour of welcoming a representative from the École catholique des arts et métiers (ECAM LaSalle), France, on Thursday, 30 October 2025, for an extensive discussion on potential collaborations.

Following a short introduction, the institutes realized their shared competence for engineering opens pathways for student and staff mobility programs, co-organizing workshops, and co-research. Furthermore, internship placement opportunities for students of HCMUTE and ECAM LaSalle now extend from Vietnam to Thailand, with access to the network of partner businesses of both institutions.

Other avenues of cooperation that were discussed included articulation programmes and cooperation in relation to ECAM’s international courses, which required students to finish their final year of Master’s programme at a partner university abroad.

With both sides having agreed to a date for the MOU signing ceremony, the meeting ended on a positive note, signaling a promising future of cooperation between HCMUTE and ECAM LaSalle.
