On the morning of 16 October, 2025, the ceremony marking the 60th Anniversary of Cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh City University Of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) and German partners took place.

The event was a meaningful milestone, celebrating six decades of close partnership—a journey nurtured by knowledge, trust, and friendship. Fortunately, HCMUTE was joined by representatives from German organisations, such as DAAD: German Academic Exchange Service, Saxon Science Liaison Office (SSLO), German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW), and the Vietnam-German Friendship Association (VGFA); German universities, like the Chemnitz University of Technology (TU Chemnitz), Digital Business University (DBU), and Kuhne Logistics University (KLU); and German businesses as well, namely Bosch Vietnam and qaps Consulting.

Most important was the presence of former faculty and staff members, as well as German experts, who had all played a crucial role in the building and running of the Vietnamese-German Center, as well as the enduring and profound partnership between HCMUTE and German partners for the last six decades. They came to witness another milestone on a path of historical achievements paved by their own hands and to receive the heartfelt gratitude of a new generation who vowed to follow their footsteps in the path to carry out HCMUTE’s motto: “Humanity – Creativity – Integration”.

The ceremony was not only an occasion to proudly reflect on the past 60 years of collaboration but also a springboard for new opportunities in training, research, and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Germany.
