On the morning of December 12, 2025, at Meeting Room 1, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) welcomed a working delegation from Adelaide University (AU) (Australia). The visit was part of the two institutions’ annual cooperation agenda, aiming to review ongoing collaboration outcomes and set directions for the next phase of partnership.

During the meeting, both universities discussed strengthening and expanding a wide range of initiatives, including credit recognition, student mobility and exchange programs, and academic engagement activities. AU also expressed strong interest in supporting student mobility through English preparation pathways, including online courses delivered by its English Language Centre.

In addition, the two sides explored opportunities to broaden cooperation in priority areas such as research and innovation, faculty development, international training programs, and emerging fields including renewable energy and hydrogen. HCMUTE also extended an invitation to AU to co-host the International Conference on Green Technology & Sustainable Development , scheduled for July 30–31, 2026, creating a platform to connect researchers, experts, and academic partners toward shared sustainability goals.

Looking ahead, both institutions agreed to continue assessing potential collaboration models— including Transnational Education (TNE)—in the coming months, reaffirming their mutual commitment to building a long-term, comprehensive, and sustainable partnership.
