On Monday, 7 July, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) welcomed and held a productive meeting with representatives from Dongyang University (DYU), Korea.

The meeting was conducted in an open and insightful discussion to explore opportunities for bilateral collaboration and mutual development.
The DYU delegation introduced their university's strengths, with an emphasis on their engineering programs, most notably in railway-related engineering programs. DYU has demonstrated its expertise through the successful implementation of an ODA project between the Korean and Vietnamese governments, training 300 highly skilled personnel for Vietnam's railway sector.

During the session, both institutions shared their strategic visions and development goals, particularly recognising their complementary strengths in the fields of engineering and technology. DYU is looking to have a partnership with HCMUTE, whose diverse technical programs and friendly environment may kickstart their own students’ passion for engineering studies.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, laying a strong foundation for a strategic partnership between HCMUTE and Dongyang University.
