On 1 July, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) had a productive meeting with the representatives from the renowned Stony Brook University (SBU) from New York, USA, on establishing international engagement and academic partnerships.

Throughout the session, our discussions centred around developing new channels for the exchange programmes of students and faculty members between the two institutions, as well as the prospects of undergraduate joint academic programmes.

These efforts are expected to not only enrich academic discourse but also align with evolving global trends in interdisciplinary education, fostering innovation and cross-cultural understanding across campuses.

The meeting concluded with positive discussions about developing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to guide our future collaboration. Both parties are enthusiastic about using this partnership to pave the way for new exchange programmes.

HCMUTE and SBU expect to continue this momentum and explore the promising opportunities that lie ahead together!
