HCMUTE team led by the Vice-President has successfully visited their first British academic partner (from 2006) - The University of Sunderland (UoS).

During the visit, the two parties has successfully conducted the following activities:

1. Review the current programmes
2. Discuss the plan to open more programmes in the following area (but not limited to): Engineering and Technology, Business, IT and Game development, Tourism and Hospitality Management. 
3. Sign the MoU to set the umbrella for the opening of new fields of study.
4. Discussion on supporting mechanisms and policies for transfering students to the UK.
5. Visiting UoS facilities.

6. Plan for a celebration of 20 years of collaboration.
