On August 20th, 2024, representatives from HCMUTE participated in the event “Daejeon-Vietnam Global Youth Creative Idea Contest (GYCIC) 2024” at UEH University.

This year's contest theme was “Smart Life: Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere.” During the event, we aimed at fostering and enhancing cooperation between universities in Daejeon City and those in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province. Specifically, our discussions concentrated on the preliminary preparations for GYCIC 2024, which will feature the participation of 17 teams composed of students from 7 Korean universities and 15 Vietnamese universities/colleges. This contest presents an excellent opportunity to cultivate global creative thinking among students from both nations within a multicultural and multinational framework.
