From March 03 to June 28, 2025, two students from the Ho Chi Minh City University Technology and Education (HCMUTE) spent an exciting and informative semester at the University of Ulsan, South Korea. The journey of Le Huu Nhiem and Le Tran Cong Tam of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering exemplifies the profound impact of international mobility programmes in fostering academic growth, global citizenship, and personal development.

During their time in the industrial powerhouse city of Ulsan, these students engaged with advanced engineering coursework that will serve as a strong theoretical framework for their studies. Yet the highlight of their academic experience was the opportunity to work under Prof. Kyoung Kwan An at the Fluid Power Control and Machine Intelligence Laboratory on their final-year thesis in mobile robotics. Beyond their structured academic pursuits, Huu Nhiem and Cong Tam also embraced the opportunity to learn more about life in Korea, which gave them a profound appreciation for the nation's renowned cuisine, the efficiency of its public infrastructure, and the tranquil beauty of the university campus. Their journey was further enriched by intercultural exchanges that occurred both inside and outside of classrooms with other international students.

Their story is a powerful testament to how exchange programmes can be a holistic experience, where every element links together to build not just a better student, but a future innovator. A huge congratulations to Le Huu Nhiem and Le Tran Cong Tam on their successful journey.
