INTENSE - International Industrial Talents Education Special Program, is an initiative by the Taiwanese government to promote industrial-academic cooperation and attract international talents to pursue a degree in Taiwan.
Located in the heart of Taiwan, the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, is the leading institution within Taiwan's technological university system and one of the top applied research universities in Asia.

The scholarship sources for the INTENSE Program include the National Development Fund of the Executive Yuan and the cooperating enterprises, including: Health examination fees before arrival in Taiwan; Visa fees; documents verification fees; One-Way Flight Ticket for the First Arrival in Taiwan; Tuition and Fees (up to 2 years), with a maximum of NT$50,000 per semester; Living Allowance: Provided by cooperating enterprises, with a minimum of NT$10,000 per student per month. 
In exchange, students are required to work for the cooperating enterprises based on the length of time they received the living allowance. The maximum obligation period is 2 years.
