On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCM-UTE) was pleased to strengthen its long-standing partnership with TMC Academy of Singapore and to lay the foundation for a new mutually beneficial collaboration with Cardiff Metropolitan University (CMU), a UK university specializing in transnational education (TNE).
During the meeting, the conversation addressed the development of effective and sustainable TNE programs, with Mr. Ian Thomas – Head of Partnerships, Cardiff Metropolitan University – emphasizing the importance of a student-centric approach, as well as selecting a partner with the right scale, vision, and shared values.
To illustrate his point, with a shared history of over 20 years in collaboration, TMC Academy and HCM-UTE have built a strong partnership on the very basis of mutual support and understanding in the fields of TNE.
The meeting ended on a high note, with HCM-UTE and TMC Academy marking another advancement in our long-time partnership with an MOA Signing Ceremony, while HCM-UTE and CMU are looking forward to charting a course for future collaborations in building TNE programs.
